Our next comprehensive Information Night for prospective members is being held on Monday 27th June 2011, upstairs at the New Sydney Hotel, Bathurst St, from 6pm.
Find out all you need to know from our skaters before you commit to purchasing the necessary gear. Last year we held three intakes but in 2011, this is likely to be our last official intake.
The information session will provide you with details on what it means to be a Roller Derby Player, Zebra (referee) or Non-Skating Official. So, if you are busting to get your skate on, we look forward to seeing you there!
Skating experience preferred, but not essential. Skaters must be 18+
Can’t Make It? Please contact us if you are interested in joining or phone our recruitment office SmacklePop on 0439 385 326 .
We are always looking for derby girls and referees both of whom need to have an ability to skate as well as non-skating officials to assist with tracking penalties and scores, managing the penalty bin and many other roles. Ever considered yourself to be an announcer or perhaps you’d like to man our merch on game days?
It takes much more than just some chicks on wheels to make a derby bout possible so whether you can skate or not, there is definitely a role for you in our league.
