The South Island Sirens are thrilled to be putting on their skates to once again take on the Van Diemen Rollers, supporting The Leukaemia Foundation’s ‘World’s Greatest Shave’ in Miss-Be-Shavin’!
Derby girls may be a tough breed, but they have big hearts. They want to give back to their community and to the Leukaemia Foundation, with whom they share a close connection; while also raising the profile of this new sport and hosting a fabulous event! But they need your support to help make it a success!
Join us on Saturday the 24th of March at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in Hobart as Tasmania’s South (Convict City Rollers + South Island Sirens) and North (Van Diemen Rollers + Devil State Derby League) leagues take each other on in a double header at this family-friendly event!
Hair colouring (in all the vibrant team colours) will be available for a donation. A great way to visibly display your support for your favourite derby girls on the night! There will also be half time entertainment, a celebrity jam and crazy hair competitions! AND…as a ‘World‘s Greatest Shave’ event, some league members may shave off their locks (it just gets in the way of their helmets anyway guys!)….and much more to come!
Share this event with everyone you know – remember it’s for a fantastic cause!
So ‘shave’ the date and we’ll see you there! We dare you!
